The Chemical Brothers thrill with release of ‘MAH’

The Chemical Brothers are keeping things fresh with their newest single, “MAH,” which is a part of their forthcoming studio album. The album will be titled No Geography and will be the duo’s ninth studio album. “MAH” follows previous release “Free Yourself” from the compilation.

While speaking to Beats 1/Apple Music, Ed Simons of The Chemical Brothers described the song’s inception, saying,

“We’ve had it in different versions for a couple years. We DJ’ed a lot a couple years ago, I want to say, and it was something we had an early version of. We had the vocal, and we had different drums. It’s just been culminating over the last couple years, but we played it live in a show last year, and it seemed to get the big reaction, really, around Europe.”

When listening to the track, it’s not surprising to find out that “MAH” originated in a live show and then transitioned into a full length track from there. The hectic progression of sounds and energetic claps of vocals keep the listener engaged until the very end.
