Emerging vocalist CALICA drops off sweet, spicy new single ‘Bitch’
You may not have heard of CALICA yet, though that’s likely all about to change. The Miami-native indie-pop vocalist is primed to deliver her debut album, Yes, It’s About You later this year, led by previously released single “Give & Take.” Now the record’s second teaser, “Bitch” is spicy and sweet all at once, offering a dainty, singalong-ready take on two people going their separate ways.
The light, tropical-inspired bop ropes together sun drenched steel drums, uplifting keys, and swaying pop rhythms, all wrapped up in CALICA’s irresistibly cheeky vocals. What’s more—”Bitch” comes complete with a perfectly matching video, featuring… you guessed it, female dogs.
