DJ Snake’s Latin heater ‘Taki Taki’ reaches 1 billion views in just 16 weeks
Cardi B, Selena Gomez, and Ozuna joined forces with DJ Snake to become a veritable Latin-fusion dream team in “Taki Taki.” The club-friendly, bilingual collaboration swiftly ascended to the number one slot on the Hot Latin Songs chart following its release, to set up shop at the top for 13 weeks. “Taki Taki” additionally topped Billboard’s Dance/Electronic chart, and currently reposes at number 18 on the Hot 100 chart.
With its ample chart credit behind it and team of influential featured artists to boot, “Taki Taki” was well positioned to rack up views on its then forthcoming official music video. The accompanying visual has since succeeded in doing just that, seeing that”Taki Taki” now touts a staggering one-billion views on YouTube. That it only took DJ Snake and company a short 16 weeks to garner the illustrious “one-billie” evidences the heat of this collaborative team’s touch—one that continues to sizzle, nearly five-months after the single’s debut.
