Gareth Emery and Ashley Wallbridge take colloboration to a new level with newly announced joint EP
Gareth Emery and Ashley Wallbridge have been feeding the trance community with euphoric releases for years via their own collaborations and shared trance label Garuda, plus their time on the parody circus as CVNT5. The pair are taking on yet another project together, this time in the form of newly announced EP Kingdom United. In celebration of the announcement, the pairing have put out a brand new track and accompanying music video to match. Said video opens a background statement, on how “Kingdom United” came together: “In 2018, we spent a week traveling the UK in search of inspiration for our new album. Along the way, we wrote this song, and made this video.”
“Kingdom United” itself features mesmerizing vocals and uplifting trance melodies, giving fans what they know and have come to expect from Emery and Wallbridge. It’s a euphoric record, delivering exactly what it was meant to based off their inspiration. Emery spoke of the video in a release, stating,“…During some fairly turbulent and unappreciable times for the UK, Ash and I wanted to make a video that showed the other side. All the things we can be united around and proud of. Hopefully, wherever you are in the world, this message of unity over division will resonate with you.” A nice package overall.
