Gather is New York’s newest camping extravaganza—debut billing includes Amelie Lens, Tiga, Doc Martin, Desert Hearts + more
A new Memorial Weekend camping festival has arrived in New York, and by the looks of it, is here to disrupt the market. Dubbed “Gather” for its intent to gather house and techno tribes across the state into an idyllic mountain setting in the Catskills, the event is organized by Teksupport as part of its deeper expansion into the live music space. Teksupport has played a dominant role in shaping and maintaining New York’s underground dance scene since its inception five years ago.
Gather boasts quite the strong lineup. In particular, it pays homage to the American roots of dance music in its booking of Detroit legends Stacey Pullen, MK, and Floorplan (Robert Hood & his daughter), plus fellow legends Doc Martin and Danny Tenaglia. UK house legend Mr. G is another notable talent on the billing, who will be making his USA debut at Gather with what’s set to be a top notch live set. Amelie Lens, Moscoman, D’Julz, and Agoria are a few other powerhouse acts representing from across the pond.
