IMS Ibiza announces female empowerment organization SheSaid. So as 2019 presenting partner
Now in its 12th year, International Music Summit (IMS), the leading thought leadership platform for electronic music, has announced its partnership with SheSaid. So, a global network of women in the music industry. This year’s event, which is set to take place at the Hard Rock Hotel in Ibiza May 22-24, will be presented and co-curated by SheSaid.So. All members interested in attending IMS for the first time will be entitled to a 50 percent discount.
In an effort to target gender stereotypes and inclusivity, among other core values like collaboration and creativity, the two powerhouses are on the cusp of making their mark on the music industry in ways that have yet to be achieved. Together, they will not only help define IMS and what the organization truly stands for, but also empower more women to hold opinions, participate and help mold the electronic music industry.
“We are excited to renew our partnership with IMS this year as a programming co-host,” says Andreea Magdalina, SheSaid. So founder. “This gives us a greater opportunity to create more visibility for women and other marginalized communities in electronic music and beyond at one of the most forward-thinking music conferences in the business. Our relationship with Ben Turner and IMS exemplifies the SheSaid. So collaborative ethos — to constructively work together to address the gender gap where necessary and propose solutions for the industry to adopt further. IMS has positioned itself at the forefront of innovation in electronic music and we are thrilled to augment the experience with our programming ideas.”
