Robotaki makes Foreign Family Collective debut, announces forthcoming EP

Toronto-based producer, Robotaki, is adding his name to the menagerie of luminous talent ODESZA has hosted under their ever-growing Foreign Family Collective. His latest, “All I Can Do,” serves as Robotaki’s first official Foreign Family release.

With its languid, downtempo allure, “All I Can Do,” emulates the moody, retro synth struts of Tame Impala, alongside his own nuanced brand of hazy surrealism. The deceivingly detached vocal floats in and out of the forefront of the composition, all the while chugging towards the gradual realization that the relationship in question is officially doomed, ultimately giving way to emotional epiphany, embodied in the swirling synth bursts ensconcing the track’s latter half.

“All I Can Do” is the first track to usher in Robotaki’s Anachronism EP and coinciding North American tour. He’s also expected to join Big Wild and Mild Minds for a series of select live shows in Chicago, New York, Detroit, Portland, and more.
