Cour T. becomes DIRTYBIRD’s youngest signee with ‘Black Magic’

The Brazil-born Cour T. is DIRTYBIRD‘s newest signee, and also the label’s youngest. At only 16, however, he’s managed to craft one of Claude VonStroke’s favorite tracks of the year: “Black Magic.” According to the label boss, “Every time I play Cour T.’s ‘Black Magic’ the room changes. The entire vibe of the party goes from hands in the air to grinding, sexual energy.”
“Black Magic” is part of a two-tracker of the same name. While the title opener is as sultry as VonStroke makes it sound with its crisp percussion and hypnotic arrangement, the B-side is equally grooving. A strong bassline and crafty synthwork make “Downstairs” an appropriate piece for the after hours.
