New York’s Coney Island welcomes new venue, AMUSE

A weekend away from the rigor of New York City is closer than one could think with the debut of AMUSE, Coney Island’s latest endeavor. Previously known as RPM Presents, the event promoter behind the popular Schimanski nightclub has revamped their brand to the newly introduced DEG Presents, and brings forth a top-tier event venue amid the Coney Island Art Walls. The venue is scaled to bridge the typical afternoon activities of the boardwalk with the cultural and creative splashes of the artistic neighborhood.

Scheduled to open in May 2019, AMUSE will be encompassed by the framework of a 20,000-square-foot tent, acting as a host for events across the entertainment spectrum. Held in the core of the Coney Island Amusement District, the venue will operate with a capacity of 4,000 people and is set to be surrounded by a selection of food, street art, and live music pop-ups.
