DJ Tennis and Acid Pauli announce LA Open-to-Close

Two of dance music’s avant garde leadership, DJ Tennis and Acid Pauli, have announced an open-to-close showing in LA on June 23. The day-into-evening soirée will take place at the picturesque Gin Ling Way in Chinatown, and is hosted by Future Primitive—which coincidentally celebrates its first birthday. In fact, DJ Tennis’ return to Gin Ling Way marks a full circle moment, as the Life and Death founder was last at this venue one year ago on June 22, 2018 to kick off Future Primitive’s very first block party alongside Dixon. The LA brand has since established itself as one of Los Angeles’ premier underground curators.

Fans can expect a bounty of psychedelic sounds from the artists involved. Acid Pauli recently put on a spiritual performance for Cercle at Garni Temple rife with Eastern and South American influences. Meanwhile, DJ Tennis has been building upon his back catalog of off kilter electronica that he skillfully blends with house and techno during his longer sets. Their styles are complementary together, and audiences are primed to be taken on an unpredictable, yet sonically satisfying journey.
