Phantoms procure playlist ahead of preZOO party
Electric Zoo 2019 is around the corner, and Phantoms is on the scene with the perfect warm up, curating a PreZoo playlist exclusively for Dancing Astronaut. The LA-based duo has been in full swing this summer, releasing their Disconnect EP in July and continuing their weekly reign on Sirius XM‘s Diplo’s Revolution with their own Is Everyone Ok radio show.
Now, they’re ready to take on Labor Day Weekend with a quick stop in New York for preZOO party presented by Casablanca Records at Dream Downtown. Ahead of a recently announced Fall tour throughout the US, Vinnie and Kyle (Phantoms) have provided fans with a taste of what’s to come on the playlist.
“This is a nice little collection of the stuff we’ve been both listening to and playing in DJ sets over the summer,” they tell Dancing Astronaut of the dancefloor-ready picks. “Basically all of these songs make us want to party. Only Human, Intended, Start Again and Let You Know were all played endlessly throughout our summer. Then you’ve got some more melodic stuff like Lane 8 and Rival Consoles in there for the quieter moments plus some of our own music to round it out since this is our playlist and we can do what we want.”
Electric Zoo Festival 2019 takes place August 30-September 1 in Randall’s Island Park, NYC, featuring one of its most impressive lineups to date. Check out the full lineup here and catch Phantoms on the Disconnect tour this fall.
