Diplo reveals new collaboration with the Jonas Brothers, ‘Lonely,’ from upcoming country album
It seems like it was only a matter of time before this one materialized.
From wedding crasher antics in Las Vegas earlier this year to a more recent social media “hack” that found Diplo in control of the Jonas Brothers‘ official Instagram account, the JoBros and Random White Dude have sparked an entertaining friendship amid the boy band’s highly successful comeback campaign this year. Now, the foursome are taking things to the next level, cementing their friendship on a new joint, “Lonely.”
The song is expected to be a single from an upcoming country music album from the Mad Decent head honcho. A quick preview reveals the collaboration’s pop-leaning sensibilities with a hint of twang, in line with much of Diplo’s newly emerging country catalog. “Lonely” is due to land at midnight EST on September 27.
