GRiZ reveals three-track ‘Bangers[3].Zip’ EP, raises money for The Trevor Project

At the beginning of the summer, GRiZ unveiled what would become a series of short EPs. Bangers[1].Zip arrived in June, followed by Bangers[2].Zip in August. To cap off the summer months and usher in the arrival of autumn, GRiZ has now revealed the third installment in this EP collection: Bangers[3].Zip.

The three-track EP features two originals and a collaboration with Kayla Jasmine, which leads off the new set of tunes. “I Like That” highlights Jasmine’s vocals and incorporates GRiZ’s production talents to kick things off in fine style. “supadupakulavibe” proves summer never truly ends with GRiZ’s effortlessly groovy beats, and “Now Til Infinity” showcases a retro tone and a smooth, sexy bassline.

“As we get ready to head out on tour next week, I wanted to give you guys these tunes that have been my secret weapons all summer long,” GRiZ said of the EP in a press release. “I hope you fall in love with them, and I can’t wait to share their energy with you in person <3 you’ve really gotta be there to feel it.”

Just days before the release of the EP, the Colorado producer teamed up with Fortnite legend DrLupo to raise money for The Trevor Project. On Sept. 16, the duo livestreamed on Twitch and raised $18,000. Watch clips from the stream here.

GRiZ is on tour through the remainder of September and all of October with The Fox Hunters and Fort Knox Five. Find cities and tickets here.
