Good Morning Mix: Dimension whips up a raucous drum ‘n’ bass Essential Mix
Dimension is easily one of the hottest names in today’s drum ‘n’ bass scene, continuously flexing his production prowess on tracks like “Desire” and “Devotion.” Most recently, he released both an original, “If You Want To” and an accompanying remix of it shortly after.
When the UK producer announced he’d be taking over the airwaves at BBC Radio 1 for a two-hour Essential Mix, he also revealed the mix’s track list, giving listeners a hint at the madness to come. The mix aired on Oct. 26, and fans embraced the high-energy drum ‘n’ bass collection that kicked off with his self-crafted introduction and… Mozart?
“Requiem” proved to be the perfect lead-off for this rambunctious mix, as Dimension quickly ushered in the Camo & Krooked bootleg of Eric Prydz‘s “Opus.”
In the two hours that follow, Dimension takes listeners on a journey through many of his original tracks, sprinkling in drum ‘n’ bass favorites from acts like Sub Focus, Metrik, Culture Shock, and more.
