Skrillex joins in on birthday surprise for TroyBoi during Los Angeles headline
Skrillex and TroyBoi are both legends in their own regards. Seeing either one of them live is always an unforgettable experience. Seeing them share the stage to perform their massive collaboration, “Warlordz,” is almost too good to be true, yet it’s exactly what lucky attendees of TroyBoi’s Los Angeles headline show experienced on Nov. 22.
On the 22nd, TroyBoi shut down Los Angeles’ famous venue The Shrine in the midst of his Nostalgia Tour. Fans were in for quite the night, with opening sets from both Argenil and Destructo, followed by TroyBoi’s signature trap sound. As the clock neared midnight, the music cut out, and TroyBoi’s friends and crew took to the stage to wish him a heartwarming happy birthday. To both the audience and TroyBoi’s surprise, Skrillex joined in on the action. As the birthday celebration drew to a close, the natural next move was to jointly perform their hit 2019 collaboration.
