Detroit’s Movement Festival teases 2020 lineup with Adam Beyer, Four Tet, Seth Troxler, and more

For over two decades, Movement has been a consistent leading force in Detroit’s lively electronic music scene. While Movement hosts electronic performers from a broad musical background, the emphasis on techno has made the festival a must-visit for fans of the genre. Based on the announcement of the first 10 acts, 2020’s show holds true to the high standard festival organizers have set for themselves.

Techno giant and Drumcode leader Adam Beyer returns as one of the early highlights the lineup. Adding to the techno-heavy roster: Italian producer and Music On founder Marco Carola, tech house stalwart Maceo Plex, Kobosil, and Detroit native DJ Stingray.

Masked dance music producer Boris Brejcha joins Grammy winner Louie Vega and underground dance showman Seth Troxler at Movement 2020 as well. Additional performers include The Black Madonna, who recently made headlines by backing out of the Amazon-supported Intersect Music Festival, and the ever-eclectic Four Tet, who recently shared his remix of Skrillex and Boys Noize’sMidnight Hour.”

Movement Festival is hosted at Hart Plaza along the Detroit River. Tickets are on sale now. Read about the history of the festival here.
