partywithray just teased a brand new ZHU collab on his ‘Winter Pool Party Mix,’ coming off the high of his killer collaboration with the enigmatic producer on “Came for the Low.” A longtime friend of the mysterious deep house stalwart, partywithray takes cues from ZHU’s patented brand of enigma and keeps things decidedly anonymous too. On this latest mix, the LA-based producer commiserates the brisk air of a West Coast Winter. A time when the rooftop pools close down and the temperature requires a light jacket. For just under an hour, partywithray keeps things moving and weaves together 34 bumping house and electro jams that are guaranteed to start a pool party in the dead of winter — even if “winter” for Los Angeles means the temperature is in the mid 50s. We’re just bitter and freezing on the East Coast, but at least this mix is keeping us warm.
