Sonny Fodera teams up with Sonickraft in a ‘Flashback’ to classic house music

It doesn’t take many ingredients to get house music right. On “Flashbacks,” Sonny Fodera and duo Sonickraft turn back the clock to build a house sound from a different era. The collaboration has all the makings of a classic house tune; a big soul sample opens before an alarm announces the arrival of a bass line surrounded by open hats and cymbals. Aptly named “Flashbacks”, the resulting track holds a four-on-the-floor appeal that would have been equally as potent on dance floors years ago as it is now.

“Flashbacks” marks rising duo Sonickraft’s debut on Fodera’s label, Solotoko. The Austrialian house maestro will head out on his Solotoko tour following his showing at the upcoming Holy Ship! Wrecked. Additionally, Fodera is locked in for a string of tour dates with Dom Dolla in what will be a highly-anticipated performance for any house fanatic.
