EDC to use Las Vegas Motor Speedway in its entirety for first time in festival history

With its 2020 date set and a lineup announcement imminent, Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Las Vegas‘ ten year anniversary edition will make festival history in its use of the full speedway for the first time in its decade of production.

For the past nine installments of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway-hosted event, EDC Vegas has used only a portion of the grounds due to RV hookups that inhibited Pasquale Rotella and company’s ability to host stages and other areas throughout the location. Now, thanks to the removal of these pesky hookups—a ten year goal of Rotella’s—there will be much more ground to cover for 2020 EDC Las Vegas attendees, and “better raver fen shui overall.”

The stages that will specifically benefit from the newfound space left in the hookups’ absence include neonGARDEN, quantumVALLEY, and pixelFOREST. The news, trumpeted by Rotella on Instagram, precedes several ensuing announcements to come from the Insomniac camp, including an update on State of Insomniac, due February 10. EDC Las Vegas will return to the Motor Speedway from May 15 – 17.
