Glastonbury delivers 50th anniversary lineup: Kendrick Lamar, Thom Yorke, Taylor Swift, FKA Twigs, and more
We now have one small pinpoint of light in an otherwise pitch black tunnel for events at the moment. As spring festivals, tours, and professional sports come to a screeching halt and travel restrictions tighten, Glastonbury picks an apt time to deliver their highly anticipated 50th anniversary lineup, set for this summer. Headliners Taylor Swift, Paul McCartney, Kendrick Lamar, and a special Sunday teatime legend’s slot for Diana Ross, lead a massive lineup teeming with talent. Amid the current tailspin events season is in, the 2020 billing gives concertgoers a foothold of hope to cling to.
Robyn, Lana Del Rey, Anderson .Paak and The Free Nationals, Haim, Kacey Musgraves, Dua Lipa, Charli XCX, Caribou, London Grammar, Thundercat, and FKA twigs are among the slew of artists booked for this year’s gathering at Worthy Farm. Scheduled to run June 24 – 28, Glastonbury’s lineup features a diverse array of current wavemakers and veteran acts alike, pairing the likes of Clairo with TLC, and Soccer Mommy with acts like The Avalanches and Kelis.
