It’s March, and in some fortunate parts of the world unencumbered by inclement weather, that means festival season is already beginning. Some festivals will open their doors as early as this month. Offering a welcomed dose of 2020 escapism at the onset of festival season is Vujaday, taking place on the Caribbean island Barbados from April 1 – 5. This is event, now in its third year, is set to offer an exquisite vacation atmosphere, endowed with the pristine views and waters that only come with pure island living.

Beyond the immaculate setting, Vujaday booked a roster of seasoned dance selectors who can adapt to the waterfront environment with easy-going grace. Diplo, Nicole Moudaber, Lee Burridge and Doc Martin will all make their way to Barbados for the event, and Doc Martin was even kind enough to put together an exclusive mix for Dancing Astronaut ahead of the highly anticipated festival event.

Those who are familiar with Doc Martin know that describing his sound as “versatile” is a severe understatement, with his seemingly boundless ability to adapt his track selections to a particular time and place. For this mix, Martin channeled a descending sunset over the water in anticipation of being awake until it rises again. Listen below.
