Ubbi Dubbi and Freaky Deaky merge for 2020 edition: Ubbi Dubbi Gets Freaky Deaky
Name a more iconic duo. Ubbi Dubbi and Freaky Deaky will wait.
The two respective electronic events, both produced by Disco Donnie Presents, will converge in 2020 to become Ubbi Dubbi Gets Freaky Deaky. The festival merger follows Ubbi Dubbi’s recent cancellation due to coronavirus health concerns.
Although the Arlington, Texas mainstay was originally slated for April 18-19, Ubbi Dubbi will combine with fellow Texas festival, Freaky Deaky. “We looked at multiple options to produce a safe event during the summer, but thought it was best to concentrate on providing a supersized event in the fall,” proclaims a statement on Ubbi Dubbi’s website.
Ubbi Dubbi Gets Freaky Deaky will take place Oct. 30-31 at the Houston Raceway Park in Baytown. Of note, the festival will feature a brand new lineup. Tickets purchased for Ubbi Dubbi will automatically transfer to the joint October iteration, granting holders access to the event. Those who cannot attend Ubbi Dubbi Gets Freaky Deaky can submit a request for a refund on Ubbi Dubbi’s website.
