Seth Troxler releases a decade’s worth of mixes for free

As quarantined ravers scour the internet for new ways to satiate their dancing addiction, Seth Troxler just provided a fountain of respite in the form of more than 100 unreleased mixes. These sets span 13 years, with the oldest stretching all the way back to his first Movement Detroit set in 2007.

Troxler’s reputation as a wild-card selector has been firmly established across his extensive career. No one can walk into one of his sets with expectations—aural expectations, anyway. Expectations of quality and danceability are a different story, as he always delivers.

Now listeners can hear just how varied and unpredictable Troxler’s sets are with this new collection. Whether it be different venues like clubs and festivals, from the UK to Panama, or different participants like solo sets and various back-to-backs, there is something in here to fit every search criteria of note.

Troxler gave a quote on the release, citing music’s ability to bring people together for brief moments of release:

There have been a lot of my mixes uploaded to the various corners of the internet over the years & I’ve also been storing a whole lot more on my drive without any intention of ever releasing them.

Given the current pandemic however I thought it would be nice to collate all these mixes into one mega-playlist. Most are amazing, some are ok, and some are from another world. It’s my desire that fans can find a moment that touched them on the dance floor, unlock special memories of better days long forgotten whilst creating new ones at home.

I’ve always believed that DJing is something that happens in the moment and these are some of those moments that we have shared over the past 13 years. Love to you all.
