TroyBoi taps Healthy Chill for trap anthem, ‘Favorite’
The masterful TroyBoi has done it again. The talented producer and frequent trap innovator is back with his newest release: a Healthy Chill collaboration called “Favorite.” TroyBoi has been relentlessly releasing new material since the beginning of the year, with “Favorite” marking his fifth release of 2020. And the buzz surrounding last year’s Skrillex collaboration “Warlordz” is still present, with the phenomenal track still getting frequently played out in DJ livestreams. With “Favorite” out now, TroyBoi is proving he is an unstoppable force in the industry.
“Favorite” opens with a hard-hitting verse from Healthy Chill, quickly followed by an airy trap buildup. The drop features a variety of tight drums topped with a high-pitched flute melody and piercing vocal shots from Healthy Chill. This is a track that deserves a massive sound system and is sure to resurface in future live events.
