A phrase that haunts every DJ and manager’s nightmares, and the tongue-in-cheek title of Destructo and Bruno Furlan’s new track featuring Dances With White Girls. “Guest List” is a catchy bass-house romp with vocals from your favorite club’s bouncer making sure the people trying to party are in tip-top shape. It’s a members only affair, and the bouncer isn’t letting anyone in.
Released on Gary Richard’s All My Friends imprint, the new track threads together gritty synthwork and a pair of battering, bass-riddled breaks that ropes in all the swaggering energy of a cologne-drenched club night. While known for his inimitable G-House style, Destructo recently ventured into hip-hop territory with by Yo Gotti, Kevin Gates, and Denzel Curry on “Bandz,” having worked with Gotti in the past on their collaboration “Loaded.” Now Destructo is flexing in the bass-house space on his latest—check “Guest List” below.
