Lockdown Livestream Guide 009: Virtual EDC, Quality Goods Exports Festival, + more
We are back for the ninth edition of the Lockdown Livestream Guide, the ultimate treasure map to the weekend’s supreme slate of music entertainment options as well as a recap of streams from this past week that will provide soundtrack through the coming week.
While the menu is relatively light compared to past weekends, the main event is ample as can be. Insomniac’s EDC Virtual Rave-A-Thon is taking traditional EDC weekend’s stead, which was supposed to touchdown once again in Vegas this year. Despite his inability to throw the marquee event in person, Pasquale Rotella pulled in a heavy-hitting lineup for the virtual festival including David Guetta, ZHU, Kaskade, NGHTMRE back-to-back Ghastly, Ekali, Svdden Death presents VOYD, and much more.
Trap savant, UZ, is hosting the second weekend of his label’s flagship festival, Quality Goods Exports Digital Festival, that will feature a robust lineup of bass-laced acts including Ganz, Bishu, Basstrick, and more.
For the dance music dignitaries over in Europe, Rave on Avon has a full weekend of house and techno cooking in the oven with Eats Everything at the top of the lineup.
Finally, a number of artists continue weekly streaming series, including Seven Lions, Dirtybird Live with Claude VonStroke, among countless more.
For re-watchable streams from last weekend, Porter Robinson and the rest of the Secret Sky Festival crew uploaded almost all of the sets from the groundbreaking event last weekend. Gryffin‘s concert movie, Gravity Live from The Shrine, is now available on-demand. Defected Records uploaded their full festival in one video including sets from Duke Dumont, Claptone, and Fool’s Gold playmaker, A-Trak. Finally, Insomniac’s virtual trance event, Dreamstate, has a hefty selection of sets from Arty’s ALPHA 9 project to progressive titan, Spencer Brown.
