However, following a sizable grip of hardstyle-influenced releases last year such as “BLISS 2K,” “CHAOS,” and “EPIPHANY RUSH,” “DON’T EVEN BOTHER” trends more toward house music territory—a surprising but welcomed stylistic departure for the veteran bass figure.

“DON’T EVEN BOTHER” is MUST DIE!’s second release of the year, following the skull crushing dubstep offered on “NERVE DAMAGE.” For his latest, MUST DIE! recruits alternative outfit The Pom-Poms for infectious vocal contributions. “Say goodbye, it’s the end of the world tonight. Don’t even bother pleading for your life,” The Pom-Poms sing, creating an eerie juxtaposition of uplifting sounds with sinister lyrical content.
