Sid Richardson, aka Siddy Rich da Vodou Baby has climbed his way to the top of the rap industry, with no signs of stopping anytime soon. Now owning his own record label, Vodou Music Group LLC, Rich’s journey began when his parents came to America from a third-world country when he was young. He says that life was tough and challenging, and at the age of nine, he was detained at the Guantanamo Bay prison camp. However, a disadvantaged youth did not deter him from his dreams.

Rich’s hits have received massive reception, and his breakout single, “Str8 Like Dat” released in 2015, placed him into the music scene. The hit song created a regional buzz from middle Georgia to central Florida. The massive response opened doors for his career, and he worked with top individuals and artists in the music industry. Siddy Rich’s greatest challenge was losing his only son, aged six, in 2012. He notes that it was a huge struggle to come to terms with his son’s death.
