Socially distanced event series called Further launches in Amsterdam

It’s no surprise that one of the electronic music hubs of the world, Amsterdam, will be hosting one of the first socially distanced club nights in an effort to return to live music and entertainment amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

Taking place at a club called RADION, an event series titled “Further” has been curated by Detroit legend DJ Bone and RADION to pioneer “a forward-thinking approach to maintaining club culture while Europe begins its recovery from the pandemic.” In addition to a limited capacity club night, Further will include a Pub Quiz, a movie night, and Quarantine RADIO(N), among other ticketed attractions.

Club nights at RADION will have a limited capacity of 30 people, according to reports. Amsterdam is one of the first cities to host a socially distanced rave, after a similar socially distanced event took place in Germany earlier in May. The rave was well-received by the community and sold out in just 15 minutes. Only time is to tell if the Further event series has the same appeal, but unsurprisingly tickets are selling out fast. For those looking to attend Further, tickets are on sale here.
