Seven Lions shares new single, ‘Don’t Wanna Fall’
“Don’t Wanna Fall” is quintessential Seven Lions. The Ophelia Records label head’s latest single begins with a dreamy, otherworldy soundscape that combines angelic vocals from HALIENE with an ethereal, twinkling piano as the backdrop. The track quickly builds, layering in supersaw chords that lead up to a melodic, bass-heavy drop.
Seven Lions, born Jeff Montalvo, has become synonymous with his ability to meld trance music with bass, resulting in gravity-defying creations like his aptly-named new single.
Notably, “Don’t Wanna Fall” is the first collaboration between Montalvo and DJ/production duo, Last Heroes, who are signed to the label. Montalvo and HALIENE have a history of working together, combining musical skills for previous tracks such as “What’s Done is Done” and “Rush Over Me.” “Don’t Wanna Fall” is out now via Ophelia Records.
