Alesso issues tech house self-remix of ‘Midnight’ with Liam Payne
Adapting his own releases in the months following their original, respective deliveries is nothing new for Alesso, and is a tendency that has enabled the Swedish icon to showcase two distinctive demeanors of his music. Now, for a third go-around following his “TIME” remix with Deniz Koyu as well as his “Sad Song” update, Alesso is renewing “Midnight” with Liam Payne as he supplies a tech house amendment with the help of Austrian newcomer, ESH.
Initially provided in April to join “One Last Time” as Alesso’s sophomore release of 2020, “Midnight” was indisputably placed on a route for radio crossover greatness. Nearly five months later, “Midnight” is now being brought back as the Swede trades in the original’s future bass design for a welcomed tech house reprise. For those previously unacquainted, the remix is far from Alesso’s first foray into the genre, as Alesso issued “In The Middle” with SUMR CAMP one year ago and routinely dives into tech house during his intimate club appearances.
