Chris Lake serves up searing tech house edit of Josement’s ‘All Night Alone’
House music’s direction continues to be guided by the proceedings of none other than Chris Lake. Initially intended as a revamped version to be employed during his in-person DJ appearances—woefully swapped for virtual ones—the Black Book Records boss’ sophomore release of 2020 is an edit of Josement’s “All Night Alone.”
In between laying the groundwork with his Anti Up counterpart, Chris Lorenzo, for the duo’s maiden LP, as well as hosting his LAKE HOUSE SERIES on Twitch, Chris Lake is following “I Remember” with a reanimated version Josement’s early 2020 single. Forewarning fans that deciphering its lyrics may be an uphill battle, the British maven adds on a crisp trace of white-hot tech house, spawning the ideal live weapon that will inevitably be able to serve its true purpose.
