Dabin issues full five-track acoustic edition of ‘Wild Youth’
In a moment where the cravings for inspiriting music are at an all-time high, Dabin has come through with a generous supply of just that, officially submitting the acoustic adaptation of his sophomore LP, Wild Youth. After repeatedly hinting at the project’s eventual delivery, then sharing a breakdown of the original effort’s lead single to commence the rollout, Dabin has hand-picked a count of five Wild Youth standouts to undergo the acoustical treatment.
Reconvening with RUNN, Lexi Norton, Essenger, Dia Frampton and Trove, the Toronto-bred producer tackles the album’s aforementioned first release, “Alive,” as well as “Lights,” “In Flames,” “Home and “Bloom.” These stripped-back versions continually bring out the ultimate qualities from the production’s initial form and Dabin actualizes the project’s full potential with the revitalization of Wild Youth.
