David Guetta produces HUMAN(X)’s first philanthropic single, reggaeton-house crossover, ‘Pa’ La Culture’

Over the course of his career, David Guetta has worked with a wide variety of artists in an equally expansive range of genres. Now, he can add reggaeton-house to the list.

Guetta has been named the producer of a new philanthropic single, “Pa’ La Culture—translation, “For The Culture”—from the recently-formed Latin group, HUMAN(X). Intended to be a unifying song for Latinos around the globe, “Pa’ La Culture” is the first release from HUMAN(X). The song features Mexican artist Thalía in addition to Sofía Reyes, Manuel Turizo and Lalo Ebratt of Colombia, MCs Maejor and De La Ghetto, Spain’s Abraham Mateo, and Zion and Lennox of Puerto Rico.

Co-founded by NEON16 executive Lex Borrero and Latin artist-producer, Tainy, HUMAN(X) is a charity initiative that seeks to benefit the Latinx community via various humanitarian efforts. To use music as a platform for their aid activities, Borrero and Tainy have partnered with storied music executive Tommy Mottola, and MITH Media founder, Charlie Guerrero.

Speaking on the musical angle of HUMAN(X)’s philanthropic aims, Borrero said,

“Music is a medium that transcends languages and borders, our plan is to use our platforms to advocate for important causes that deserve global attention and monetary funds.”

All proceeds from “Pa’ La Culture” will be directed to the National Day Laborer Organizing Network, which seeks to assuage the impact of COVID-19 on immigrant communities via its Immigrant Worker Rights Safety Net Fund.
