Kygo announces ownership stake in Miles Teller’s alcoholic beverage brand, The Long Drink
Despite the absence of his yearly touring agenda, Kygo has still managed himself to keep his plate full this year, between the deliverance of Golden Hour, setting up his very own virtual festival, and a recent connection with the legendary Tina Turner. If that outstretched list of wins in 2020 somehow doesn’t appear substantial enough, Kygo is now adding partial ownership of an alcoholic beverage brand to his far-reaching portfolio.
The tropical house king, alongside PGA superstar, Rickie Fowler, has officially acquired a stake in The Long Drink, a Finnish-based beverage company that brings together a 5.5 percent ABV blend of citrus soda and premium liquor. Now fellow co-owners with critically-acclaimed actor, Miles Teller, Kygo was first introduced to The Long Drink by Teller himself when he performed at Teller’s longtime friend’s wedding back in 2019. Kygo dove into how he and his Palm Tree Crew associates became involved after first being introduced to The Long Drink, stating,
“I first heard of Long Drink when I was DJing my good friend Miles Teller’s wedding in Hawaii last year. We all had them and I loved the taste. The company’s vibe really matched our brand and what we’ve been building, so we couldn’t be more excited to be involved.”
