Kygo teams up with Amazon Music to deliver orchestral version of ‘I’ll Wait’
Less than one-month removed from his “What’s Love Got to Do With It” remake with Tina Turner, Kygo is teaming up with Amazon Music to release the orchestral version of his Golden Hour inclusion, the Sasha Sloan-assisted “I’ll Wait.”
“I’ll Wait” is Sloan and Kygo’s second collaboration together, and the tropical house original seamlessly translates to a melodic orchestral format. Sloan’s singing is at the forefront of the orchestral rendition, which carries a slowed tempo. The piano serves as the central element of the instrumental backdrop until violins enter, adding energetic flair.
The single has been released as an Amazon Original and is now available on the platform along with “Summer Sessions with Kygo,” a Kygo-curated playlist that is part of Amazon Music’s seasonal playlist series, “The Summer Sessions.”
