The earth is born from aliens in Diplo’s ‘Looking For Me’ music video [Watch]

Diplo has arrived with a new music video for “Looking For Me,” produced alongside Paul Woolford and featuring Kareen Lomax. The Higher Ground spearhead does not shy from releasing videos that add surprising yet entertaining visual stories to his releases, and “Looking For Me” is no exception.

At the beginning of the video, the viewer is immediately immersed in a blend of the real and otherworldly, as aliens descend on earth, landing in the middle of an expansive desert. The aliens fly towards a large crater in the desert and summon their power to turn the desert dirt into greenery and flowers. Animals start forming as the world around them continues to brighten and grow. It’s an eccentric visual certainly worth the watch, to say the least.

“Looking For Me” was born after Lomax DM’d out Diplo on Instagram in hopes of working with him. Dreams do come true, and in the time that’s followed Diplo’s timely notice of the DM and subsequent addition of Lomax to “Looking For Me,” the groovy tune has taken over house and pop radio airwaves. Now, the music video adds a new sensory element to keep the feel-good single alive.
