Tiësto and Vintage Culture convene for ‘Coffee (Give Me Something)’
The Grammy Award-winning Tiësto paired up with Vintage Culture for “Coffee (Give Me Something),” released via the former’s Musical Freedom imprint. The track premiered at Vintage Culture’s Tomorrowland Digital Festival set and was also played during the Brazilian DJ’s” Unlock Your Soul” livestream.
Through a mist of stabs and harmonic ambiance, dissident vocals guide the track to melodic bliss for an ethereal gem of a track that materializes as an elegant collaboration between the two production virtuosos.
Tiësto delineated how the joint project came together in a press release, stating
“I’ve been going back and forth with Vintage Culture for a while now looking for the right song to work on together. His track ‘My Girl’ was one of the best streaming records on my label. When we heard the vocal for ‘Coffee,’ we immediately had a ton of inspiration to work on this and quarantine gave us a lot of time to try different versions and perfect the record. In the end we ended up making changes to the very last day! We’re really excited about how it turned out. It’s something for home playlists but also for the club. I hope everyone will enjoy it as much as we did making it.”
