Claude VonStroke turns in tasty twofer with Catz ‘n Dogz, ‘Raggadagga’
House heads rejoice as head Dirtybird Claude VonStroke releases a brand new two-track EP with fellow producers Catz ‘n Dogz. Raggadagga is Claude VonStroke’s second twofer EP of the year, following the release of his collaborative project with Marc Houle, Fly Guy. Also releasing a full-length album in February titled Freaks and Beaks, as well as a new streaming TV venture, VonStroke is keeping his foot on the gas amid this year’s largely wasted schedule
Claude VonStroke’s and Catz ‘n Dogz’ Raggadagga EP features two juxtaposing tracks titled “Raggadagga” and “How I Make You Feel.” The project’s titular track boasts an upbeat, funky instrumental centered around a repeating eponymous mantra. An energetic and lighthearted track in its entirety, “Raggadagga” is a certified dance floor shaker. “How I Make You Feel,” on the other hand, is more reminiscent of pre-COVID dawn-breaking afterparties. The track is anchored to an airy atmospheric backdrop matched with a classic house drum pattern and deep vocal sample, creating a more relaxing energy than the lead track.
