Good Morning Mix: Wake up with REZZ’s bone-rattling Red Rocks 2019 performance
In honor of what would have been her third annual Red Rocks takeover, REZZ has released the footage from her 2019 set at the famous Colorado amphitheater. Known as REZZ Rocks, the event has come to be a gathering place for fans of the DJ/producer—who affectionately call themselves the Cult of REZZ— with many traveling from out of state to attend the show. And with REZZ’s dark, mid-tempo bass continuing to hypnotize the masses and draw in larger crowds year-over-year, the 2020 event was set to be bigger than ever, with two nights of music and support from artists like Rusko, i_o, and Lucii.
REZZ Rocks was originally scheduled for September 3 – 4, but was postponed to 2021 due to coronavirus concerns. After taking to social media to express her feelings of melancholy, REZZ surprised fans with the live set release, drumming up nostalgia for last year’s outdoor affair, but even more excitement for 2021’s installment.
