Oliver Heldens uses HI-LO alias as platform for deep warehouse hitter, ‘Kronos’

Heldeep Records label head Oliver Heldens has brought his deep side to HI-LO once again for the warehouse-suited follow-up to “Zeus,” “Kronos.”

Though Heldens has a reputation for precise future house and electro sound, HI-LO was created as an outlet for his deeper underground sounds, and “Kronos” accordingly opens with an eerie dark arpeggiator that is overtaken by subtle brass hits and an ominous buildup. The break gives way to deep, crunchy techno kicks and low, gritty basslines sprinkled with tight cymbals on the high-end. This massive tune screams Oliver Heldens while still offering a sound unique to the HI-LO project.

Perfectly tailored for late night warehouse rave destruction, “Kronos” is certain to make its rounds in the club circuit post-COVID-19. Stream “Kronos” below.
