Anderson .Paak releases funk-pop, ‘Jewelz,’ co-produced by Timbaland
Anderson .Paak released a funky new heater, “Jewelz,” co-produced by Timbaland. The groovy funk-pop features .Paak’s airy, smooth vocals at center stage alongside casual guitar licks and a dancing percussion that glides along the backside for a slick composition. The playful track references how fly the Oxnard artist is even before he puts his jewelry on and includes a talkbox bridge for an extra warm dose of 70s appeal.
“Jewelz” follows “YUUUU” with Busta Rhymes, a feature on India Shawn’s “Movin’ On,” “Cut Em In” featuring Rick Ross which was featured in Madden 21, and his protest song about racial injustice “Lockdown,” which received remix treatment from Noname, J.I.D., and Jay Rock. Listen to Anderson .Paak flex in the pocket on his latest single, “Jewelz,” below.
