Australian synth wave duo Power Glove share ‘Feel It’ theme from Netflix docuseries ‘High Score’

Seldom does a theme song require a full version, but for those that happened to catch the recently released Netflix docuseries High Score, we’ve now heard the exception to the rule. Remember the feature’s opening credits—scored by that delectably funky, 8-bit-inspired dance track? When the three-part series landed in August, only the theme song’s 30-second cut was available, and now we have Australian synth wave duo Power Glove to thank for the full version.

Titled “Feel It,” the track perfectly encapsulates the intersection of gaming and dance culture—it’ll make you want to dust off the N64, or the CDJs…or both. Enough to make any French house head do a double take, “Feel It” strikes a well-rounded balance of dance floor appeal and console-inspired nostalgia. And while Power Glove may not yet be a household name, that could all be about to change.

The duo, consisting of Melbourne-based brothers Jarome and Joel Harmsworth, named for the iconic 1989 Nintendo accessory, has notably had their work featured in various games and film projects since 2012. Now, following their new Netflix-championed single, the pair are working on transitioning Power Glove into a live act and “Feel It” could be setting off a festival tent near you one day in the future. Listen below.
