Billie Eilish documentary to hit theaters, Apple TV+ in 2021
A documentary film about Billie Eilish, Billie Eilish: The World’s A Little Blurry, will be released in theaters and on Apple TV+ come February 2021.
After being named Artist of the Year at the first-ever Apple Music Awards in 2019, 18-year-old Billie Eilish landed a $25 million deal for the right to stream a documentary about her life and its work thus far. Directed by RJ Cutler and co-produced by Interscope Records, the documentary is slated to make its way to both theaters and Apple TV+ upon its release.
Not only has Billie Eilish become the youngest artist to ever score a Bond film, but she also made Grammy history in January, becoming the first female artist to sweep the awards ceremony’s four major categories and biggest honors: “Best New Artist,” “Album of the Year,” “Record of the Year,” and “Song of the Year.”
