With all that is happening these days, taking time to destress is important, and Nora En Pure allows for just that on her lush progressive feeler featuring the buttery smooth vocals of Tim Morrison, “Come Away.”

Through a jungle of rich percussion with a subtle tonal bass, a filtered melody peaks through and grows in intensity among synth ad libs. The oscillating percussion shows off its dynamics, acting as an entrance for Morrison’s gentle cadence. As volumes rise, so does Morrison’s voice, peaking before falling on a house beat supported by a rounded running bass. The bass is accompanied by fluttering synth stabs from the intro verse in the next phrase. The succeeding verse brings warm piano chords in place of the prior melody, with strings added for a different taste of instrumental texture.

“Come Away” is a breath of fresh air in a time where the little wins mean a lot. It’s recommended to put both the original and extended mix on repeat while enjoying the nature around you.
