Spotify‘s search feature now comes in handy for those tip-of-the-tongue moments, encouraging users to search by lyrics with the streaming giant’s latest tech update. The new function was announced via Twitter and is already available for use.

The new function comes as a seamless update to the Spotify app. Just type whatever lyrics that are on your mind into the search bar and look for the “lyrics match” label in the results. In terms of the streaming service war, the lyric search is nothing new, with Apple Music putting it into play back in 2018. With the game always shifting however, it’s important for these competing tech monoliths to not just keep up with one another, but to ultimately stay ahead of the curve.
