Subsidia Records ushers in first signed EP, YOOKiE’s ‘FiSSiON’
YOOKiE have earned distinct honors as the first artists to issue a standalone release on Excision‘s Subsidia Records, cementing their Subsidia presence with their decimating, six-track EP, FiSSiON.
In late September, Excision minted Subsidia Records by releasing three compilation albums featuring more than 100 tracks from an excess of up-and-comers and established bass entities alike. YOOKiE’s “NUCLEAR” was a main highlight of the new music dump, and now, the sibling duo comprising Anthony Alfaro and Christopher Alfaro follows its initial Subsidia showing with a mind-melting EP.
On the first EP signed to Subsidia, YOOKiE show off divergent sound design, mobilizing listeners into complete chaos with each of the project’s six tracks. As an added bonus, FiSSiON features the production pair’s very own ad-libs and raps, along with features from Advm Stone, Qoiet, and Code:Pandorum. Stream FiSSiON below.
