ZHU unveils plans to livestream DJ set from moving train in Montana
Quarantine streams continue to push artists to showcase their music in increasingly creative ways. From Chet Porter‘s underwater performance to San Holo‘s slow motion set, along with several other boundary-pushing livestreams, DJs are raising the bar for digital, COVID-19–compliant entertainment. Now, ZHU—who has already performed atop a mountain in the Japanese Alps and in the middle of a desert in California—is set to deliver a full DJ set from a moving train in Montana.
ZHU announced his latest creative endeavor in a series of tweets beginning on September 20, before confirming on September 26 that the set would take place on a train. The livestream, to be broadcast on October 8, is a self-proclaimed “therapy session” that will include new music. Read ZHU’s cryptic Twitter announcements below, and stay tuned for more details.
