Armin van Buuren and Eurovision Song Contest 2019 sensation Duncan Laurence have teamed up for a catalog-diversifying cut, “Feel Something.” The single arrives as a nostalgic crossover of modernized synth-pop and indie dance, two distinct styles that meet in unison on a song that listeners likely would not expect to follow van Buuren’s robust trance anthems.

“Feel Something” will feature as the twelfth and final inclusion on Small Town, Duncan Laurence’s forthcoming album. Small Town is expected to land on November 13. van Buuren described his creative partnership with Laurence in a press release, stating,

“I always feel blessed working with very talented singer-songwriters, not only because they love music just as much as I do, but also because it reminds me that I am so lucky to be able to create music with other people and do this for a living. If you’ve ever heard Duncan Laurence perform live; that voice… what a gift! Working together with him was an absolute blessing and I am very proud of the result. It’s fresh and new, and we put a lot of love in it. We intended to let listeners ‘Feel Something,’ and that’s exactly what this record does.”

“Feel Something” comes shortly after the release of van Buuren’s “Need You Now” with X-Factor winner Jake Reese, as well as his three-track EP Hollow Mask Illusion with AVIRA. “Feel Something” is out now via Armada Music.
