The BROHOUSE movement continues to thrive with BROHUG’s latest, ‘Lost Cowboys’
“New music tomorrow” and “new music out today” have been continuous Twitter refrains for BROHUG throughout the year, and on November 27, the latter announcement proved true for the 28th time as the bass house godfathers guided “Lost Cowboys” to streaming platforms. Those who’ve religiously followed the trio’s release activity will likely find the lyrical hook around which “Lost Cowboys” is organized—“get back on the horse”—somewhat ironic, because if 2020 has rendered anything clear about BROHUG, it’s that they haven’t once sonically unsaddled during the new decade.
After adding a touch of Western flair to a BROHUG mix issued near the end of October, “Lost Cowboys” now brings its whimsy to the dance domain at large as Christopher Lunde, John Dahlbäck, and Niklas Lunde are yet again found standing tall behind the Swedish house that begs for a stage.
